DESCRIPTION:The Hastings Dakota County Veteran Service Office will be moving from its current location at the Dakota County Judicial Center to Hastings City Hall\, 101 Fourth St.\, 4/6/12. \n\n	 \n\n	Mary Truax\, Senior Veterans Services Officer\, meets with veterans by appointment only on Fridays. Service is also available at the Northern Service Center of West St Paul and the Western Service Center Apple Valley. To schedule an appointment at any of these locations\, call (651) 554-5601 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.\, Monday through Friday.\n\n	 \n\n	An open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.\, Friday\, April 20th\, at the Hastings City Hall. Anyone interested in meeting Dakota County Veteran Services staff is welcome to attend. The Green Mill restaurant will provide refreshments. No reservations required.\n\n	 \n\n	Dakota County Veteran Services provides advice and assistance for veterans or their family members filing claims for state and/or federal benefits\, assistance with VA medical care\, education\, and employment benefits.
