Trails by Candlelight: Spring Lake Park Reserve - Hosted by Dakota County Parks-Forever Wild

Enjoy Spring Lake Park Reserve by flickering candlelight. Take in the stunning views of the Mississippi River as you enjoy candlelight cross-country ski trails and plowed walking trails. Dakota County Parks ski pass required for skiers. Warm up with hot cocoa and crackling bonfires. Cocoa provided. Hot food available for purchase from food trucks. Volunteers needed.
• Candlelight Cross-country Skiing (Dakota County Parks Ski Pass Required for all skiers)
• Candlelit Walking on a plowed, ADA walking path.
• Bonfires Galore
• Hot cocoa (free)
• Come hungry! Hot concessions available for purchase from Food Trucks
Dogs not permitted. Service animals trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability are welcome.
Ages: All ages
Fee: $5 person. Youth ages 3 and younger free. Tickets on sale December 1, 2018 at 8 AM CST.

Food Trucks: Kabomelette Food Truck and The Brick Oven Bus Pizza.
Bring your own ski equipment. Ski equipment rental not available. No snowshoe/hiking trails will be lit (only plowed paved paths will be lit).
All planned event activities are conditions-permitting. A final plan for event activities will be determined 24 hours in advance and posted in the event’s web page and on the Dakota County Parks-forever wild Facebook page. No refunds will be issued if event activities change due to unsafe conditions. Full refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled due to weather.
Weather Cancellation Policy
If forecast 24 hours in advance calls for the air temperature to be five below zero degrees Fahrenheit OR the wind chill to be 20 degrees below zero Fahrenheit during the start of the event, the event will be cancelled.
